Rectangular aluminium plaque commemorating the names of soldiers from 'A' company 2/29 Battalion, killed at the battle of Muar in Malaya, 18-22 January 1942. The plaque is lightly coloured and highlighted in gold, grey, brown and black and has been varnished. There are six small holes around the edge for attachment. The plaque shows a cross on a plinth, bearing the intersecting letters 'AIF RIP', superimposed on an Australian army 'Rising Sun' badge. The plinth bears a representation of the 2/29 colour patch. Around the cross and badge are 'BATTLE OF MUAR 1942 HONOR ROLL "A" COY 2/29 BN KILLED IN ACTION'.
